Meet the team leading the Growzz journey
Growzz originated from a strategy consulting firm, Commercial Advantage, that focused on improving Joint Business Planning across the global retail and consumer goods industry. Growzz is the result of a 20-year innovation process involving hundreds of companies, thousands of people, and an absolute focus on designing growth activities that deliver real results.

As well as running a consumer goods manufacturer that was spun off from a major multi-national, he also worked in the Consumer Markets strategy practice at KPMG Consulting, including as Head of Consumer Markets Strategy.
Aidan founded Commercial Advantage in 2004, where he was accountable for hundreds of initiatives focused on improving Joint Business Planning processes, before co-founding Growzz in 2019. In his career, he has worked across the global retail and consumer goods industry in over 40 countries, including with most of the top 100 consumer goods companies and retailers and advising C-Suite leaders in many of them.
Aidan focuses on managing our relationships and customer success across Growzz’s global client portfolio.

Initially working in an advisory capacity to retailers, he then moved to the consumer goods practice of Ernst & Young, and later Deloitte, and was also the Head of Growth Strategy, Consumer Markets, at KPMG.
At Commercial Advantage, he was responsible for running all of its Joint Business Planning programmes internationally and led the development of our original consulting products that laid the foundation for Growzz.
At Growzz, Patrick focuses on overseeing product development and managing operations.

At Tesco, he ran various business units in the UK before launching Tesco in China and overseeing their global business as SVP Global Commercial.
He then relocated to the US, where he has held roles including President of the Kmart Corporation, CEO of Pier 1, and Chief Customer Officer of Dollar Tree.
He is currently the CEO of Swiftly, a retail media platform.
At Growzz, Alasdair focuses on advising the founders on product strategy and introducing Growzz to the C-Suites of retailers.

Aidan Bocci founds the consumer goods and retail strategy consultancy, Commercial Advantage, that makes one promise to clients: Real Results.

Patrick Wenckebach joins Commercial Advantage to build its intellectual capital, oversee project delivery with clients, and manage operations.

Aidan and Patrick build an organization of 40 strategy consultants and Commercial Advantage becomes one of the fastest growing private companies in the UK.

Commercial Advantage codifies all key decision-making processes that relate to Joint Business Planning, creating the IP for a globally scalable business planning product.

Growzz is founded using Commercial Advantage’s IP and Molson Coors and other consumer goods manufacturers support Growzz in shifting the product to pure play SaaS.

Alasdair James joins to engage the C-Suites of retailers. Retailers and suppliers see tremendous shared value in Growzz and the first retailer-led implementations begin.
